Helping you grow familiar with those elements that make a play tick: character, situation, development, suspense and, most important, conflict. Learn what makes a play come alive and what tends to stall it, to drain it of life. Learn a wonderful art.

Bill Ballantyne attended the Yale Drama School, where he studied acting with such legends as Stella Adler, Bobby Lewis and Mildred Dunnock. In 1981, Bill’s first full length play, The Al Cornell Story, was produced twice by Theatre Passe Muraille. His second play, Bat Masterson’s Last Regular Job, was produced simultaneously in New York and in Toronto. A third production was arranged by Joseph Papp. Since then, he has written 15 more plays.
